Victoria Government Department of Health refers to the Australian Guidelines for Water Recycling for use of recycled water and alternative water sources. They have also developed

• Guide for completion of a Recycled Water Quality Management Plan and
• Guidelines for water recycling in health care facilities 

EPA Victoria has produced Guidelines for Environmental Management on:

• Dual pipe water recycling schemes - Health and environmental risk  management and
• Use of Reclaimed Water which describes the environmental and health controls necessary to enable the highest class of  reclaimed water (class A) to be supplied via a third pipe network for non-potable residential uses such as  garden watering and toilet flushing.
